SLOW DOWN, THE MEDITERRANEAN WAY
THINKING MU DROPS “TIME AFTER TIME” – A REMINDER OF WHAT SUMMER IS REALLY FOR
When the day reaches its peak, time seems to lose its usual meaning. Conversations stretch on, set tables remain lively meeting points for hours, and there is no need to rush. Inspired by this particular sense of ease, deeply rooted in Mediterranean culture, Thinking MU presents its new SS26 drop Time After Time. A collection that interprets Sobremesa not as a moment, but as a way of life.

The art of staying longer: Within the creative universe of Long Days, the main collection for Spring/Summer 2026, Time After Time marks that moment when the sun seems to stand still and everything slows down. The collection captures the particular atmosphere of an endless summer day. Those moments when there is no better place to be than sitting together with family and friends around a table, sharing time and letting conversations unfold.
Fabrics, textures and colors in the rhythm of midday light: The collection is based on lightweight materials, natural textures and a warm color palette inspired by the nuances of Mediterranean midday light. Check patterns take center stage, appearing in various interpretations developed by the creative team, from reimagined red gingham seersucker fabrics to compositions reminiscent of tablecloths, long lunches and everyday scenes of summer life.
Special attention is given to materials with a handcrafted character and cultural depth. Among them is Lattice, a fabric developed on an unbleached cotton base that preserves the natural color of the plant. Fine red lines run through the weave, forming a grid inspired by traditional lattice architecture.
Details that stay with you: Artisanal elements give the collection its distinctive expression. Embroideries and textile appliqués draw on familiar imagery from the Mediterranean and translate it into a contemporary design language.
The traditional hemstitch technique is reinterpreted through decorative trims with maritime references and appears across different silhouettes. This is complemented by natural guipure motifs that add additional structure, depth and relief to the fabrics.
Graphics, memories and the feeling of an endless summer: The collection’s T-shirts underline the relaxed and familiar character of Time After Time. Their motifs tell stories of vineyards, beaches, everyday objects and iconic symbols of Mediterranean summer culture.
Through techniques such as machine hand embroidery, cross-stitch elements and patch appliqués, a deliberately artisanal aesthetic is created that gives each garment a personal and intimate touch.

Swimwear between function and everyday life: The drop is rounded off by a swimwear collection for women and men. For women, the signature gingham seersucker pattern returns in a newly interpreted four-color version. Selected prints from the ready-to-wear collection are also carried over into the swimwear, creating a visual connection between the individual lines.
For men, Thinking MU introduces a new swim shorts silhouette with LIU. The relaxed and versatile construction deliberately blurs the boundaries between swimwear and ready-to-wear, allowing for a seamless transition from the beach to everyday life.
