SHAPING WHAT COMES NEXT: FORM/FUTURE 2026 IN BERLIN
Press Factory curated and hosted a press delegation in Berlin, bringing together selected journalists and creators from the fields of design, culture, architecture and urban development.

From September 9th to 12th 2026, our team managed the delegation from first invitation to final departure: we identified and invited relevant media, coordinated the guests ahead of their arrival, shaped the accompanying programme and hosted the delegation throughout their stay.
The aim was to turn a conference visit into a broader experience of Berlin – connecting the ideas discussed at FORM / FUTURE with the people, places and institutions that make the city’s design culture tangible.
FROM PROCESS & PRINCIPLES TO BERLIN
The centrepiece of the delegation was FORM / FUTURE, the international design conference that took over the main hall of Tempelhof Airport on September 10th.
Around 700 guests and more than 50 speakers came together under the theme “Process & Principles” to explore the convictions behind design decisions and how design processes can be made visible.
Across six thematic tracks, keynotes, panels and master classes brought together perspectives from design, business, politics and society. Topics ranged from urban development and city branding to futures thinking, legal design and the changing role of designers within companies.
The conference also marked 20 years of Berlin as a UNESCO City of Design, putting the relationship between design and the city’s future centre stage.
Good ideas travel further when the right people experience them first-hand.
EXPERIENCING BERLIN DURING ART WEEK
The programme continued across the city as Berlin Art Week opened its 15th edition, bringing together perspectives from design, architecture, art and cultural production.
The delegation experienced a curated selection of places, exhibitions and events across Berlin, creating opportunities to explore the themes of FORM / FUTURE beyond the conference venue and to encounter the city’s creative ecosystem first-hand.

The result was a delegation that connected FORM / FUTURE, Berlin and the media – giving selected journalists and creators the opportunity to experience the conference and the city first-hand, and to take its ideas further into their own channels and stories.
