The RENÉ STORCK label was founded in 2001. Back then the samples, produced in Germany using the highest quality materials, could only be ordered from his atelier. René Storck GmbH was established with an investor in 2007 and two years later the designer relocated to Paris where he presented his collection at the Hôtel de Crillon. After the third presentation in Paris, he also achieved retail success: the spring/summer 2011 collection was ordered by leading stores in Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria.

After separating from his partners, René Storck founded a new independent company in 2013. The first collection was presented in Paris in 2014 and success soon followed. His pieces were stocked by retailers once again and a new store was opened in Frankfurt. In 2015 René Storck presented his collection in Paris, Berlin and Munich and participated in the Vogue Salon and the Berliner Mode Salon. He has been featured in portraits and editorials in W, WWD, Encens, VOGUE, Marie Claire France and Madame Figaro, and Caroline de Maigret often wears his designs.
